Fields we compare

Comparisons use a consistent, published set of fields — system size and equipment, price and financing structure, warranty terms, disclosures, licensing, and homeowner-experience signals.

Source types

Provider-supplied information, provider-published documents, and verifiable public records. We do not use rumor, single-source anecdotes, or unverified reviews as factual claims.

Missing data

Missing fields are labeled "Not provided" or "Unable to verify." We never fill gaps with assumptions and present them as fact.

Neutral language and no automatic winner

Comparisons describe differences rather than declaring winners. Homeowners choose the provider that fits their situation.

Provider verification

Providers may review the factual fields we display about them and request corrections through our corrections process.

Commercial relationships

See our commercial relationships disclosure. Commercial relationships do not change which fields are compared or how they are displayed.

Date sensitivity

Time-sensitive fields (pricing, incentives, financing terms) participate in our weekly information verification.
