What this site is

Front Range Solar Guide is a research and consultation service for Colorado homeowners exploring residential solar. We publish educational content about solar in Colorado, the questions worth asking, the trade-offs of each financing structure, and the practical realities of installing solar on a Front Range home.

What this site is not

We are not a solar installer. We do not manufacture panels, install systems, service warranties, or issue proposals. Those services are handled by an authorized third-party residential solar company — currently ION Solar.

Who operates it

Front Range Solar Guide is operated by Consulting, LLC, a Colorado consulting entity. We built this site because most residential solar marketing pushes prospects toward a proposal before fundamental questions have been answered. Our goal is to raise the quality of the conversation before the sales conversation starts.
